British arable farmers Simon Craven and Tim Ellis, along with Simon’s son Stanley, flew to the USA in December 2025 to visit the Firewater Ag team in Lexington, Kentucky, USA to discover for themselves the huge potential of Plasma Activated Water (PAW) for UK agriculture.

Day One – Firewater Ag

After a warm welcome from Travis Potter and his team at the Firewater Ag manufacturing facility, we spent the day talking with farmers (4 acres up to over 10,000 acres) already benefiting from the Firewater technology. We had an in-depth demonstration of the Thunder 7 machine producing plasma activated water and nitrate ready for application to crops.

Following lunch (we ate way too much!), we spent the afternoon having a fascinating conversation with Travis and Chris Winters (fondly known as ‘Hippy Chris’) about all things farming and PAW – with a very deep dive into quantum physics and its significant impacts on agriculture.

With our minds still spinning from everything we had seen, learnt and talked about during our first day, we headed back to our hotel – after our hire car was jump started by the Firewater team!

Day Two – Tennessee

After a night of fitful sleep thanks to our jet lag and what we had learnt the day before, Stanley suggested a trip to Tennessee to visit Chris Winters farm to see firsthand the effects of PAW. A quick trip back to Firewater to contact Chris, we were on our way to White Squirrel Farm in Tennessee, three hours south of Lexington. After another warm welcome, this time from Chris and his dogs, we had an in-depth tour of the four-acre farm.  Chris grows a wide variety of vegetables and fruits for high-end restaurants in nearby Nashville – with a focus on growing high quality produce using plasma activated water and electroculture. Chris has achieved some remarkable results on his farm, with little pest pressure due to the health of his crops, plus extending productivity by weeks, increasing his profitability significantly. Chris is a remarkable farmer / grower with a deep understanding of the many subtle factors that affect plants’ growth and health. With more head spinning lessons learnt, we headed the three hours back to Lexington.

Day Three – Firewater Ag

Another night of little sleep, after a quick trip to Cabela’s Superstore – for everything imaginable for the outdoors, from assault rifles to bbq’s to fishing bait, a final visit back to see Travis and the Firewater team in the morning,  At lunch time I headed back to the airport via a shopping mall to get presents for the family before flying home, with Simon and Stanley staying two more days to explore Kentucky.
